Cyberspace & Cyberlaw (5 EC)
How does Facebook protect its users privacy? Is The Pirate Bay legally responsible for copyright infringements of its users? How does the OV-chipcard regulate the traveling behavior? These and other questions are on topic in Cyberspace & Cyberlaw course, that adresses the regulation of the information- and communicationtechnology (ICT) and the reciprocity or interplay between technology, law and society.
Course description
The courses main goal is to equip participants with tools for an interdisciplinair dialogue between lawyers, policy makers, ICT-designers. A debate that is of the utmost importance to bring and maintain the informationsociety in order.
With the knowledge gained during this course students learn to formulate normative judgements and must be able to use, indicate and specify juridically the newest developments of ICT-services an- implementation.

The schedule for Cyberspace & Cyberlaw is:
Tuesday from March 13 until April 10 and Thursday March 15 until April 12 from 3-5 p.m.
